Prior to its July 18th release date, Flintlock: Siege of Dawn has shown teasing glimpses of its fast-paced gameplay. However, developer A44 Games just released new footage showcasing what players can look forward to. As someone who has been messing around with the demo recently, I can tell you that the game is definitely worth the wait.

The most recent gameplay showcase, running 20 minutes long, showcases mid-story to late-game gameplay. If you are unaware of what Flintlock is about, here is what the press release says about the game itself.

“Humanity is under siege, attacked by the gods and their unrelenting forces. Fill the shoes of sapper Nor Vanek, who on a secret mission, dooms the human race after inadvertently freeing the fiercest gods of all. With a god of her own by her side, Enki, the duo must race across the world of Kian, slaying the gods and restoring humanity’s rule in this fast-paced action RPG.”

If that piques your interest, then you should check out the new gameplay showcase. Here is what the press release says about the showcase: “Showing areas from later in the game, join Nor and Enki as they prepare to step into the deserts of Wanderer’s Rest to take on the personal guard of the god Dukmar. With an entire army hunting for her, Nor will need all of her skills to make it to her eventual destination – the City of Sibyl, where she hopes the gods’ true intentions will finally be revealed.

As previously mentioned, Flintlock: Siege of Dawn will be released on July 18th. You can pre-order it now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. I’m excited to see what the full game has in store, and keep an eye out soon for a preview, since we may have coverage for the demo on its way. Flintlock is one of the more unique ARPGs to be releasing this year, and it is definitely one to watch.
