News is short this week, partly because faux-E3 just happened and someone was stupid enough to cover about 200 games. It’s me, I’m the problem, it’s me. Monday, Alexx and I covered the Women-Led Games Showcase as well as the Future Games Show. Thursday, Taylor covered the launch of My Time at Sandrock‘s Cross-Play multiplayer, which isn’t on all platforms yet, and Matthew covered the Nintendo Direct from earlier this week. When I say the news is dry (aside from Paradox getting on my hit list), I mean it is dry.

Moving on to the Epic Games Store and speaking of getting on my hit list, we’re not talking about LEGO Builder’s Journey. No, instead that was swapped out so I could be forced to talk about Rumble Club, a free-to-play Fall Guys-like that was released earlier this year and with a less attractive style. You can pick up the creatively namedRumble Club – Free Game of the Week Bonusright now, gaining you 1,000 Gold and 22 Gems. Wow, I’ll give you a shiny penny and a kick in the guts if you’ll go away, please?

Praise the baby Jebuz that this wasn’t the only thing available. This week you can also pick up The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild’s Freshly Frosted, the studio’s 2022 puzzle title. I would sayHuzzah!as it’s not a repeat of something we’ve seen here on Epic before, but if you’ve stuck around for Prime Gaming long enough, you’ll have picked up this simple version of Rhombico Games’ 2019 Automachef. I don’t hate the idea of Freshly Frosted, but ultimately it is the type of simple that is difficult to speak about for long.

All this week, you can pick up Freshly Frosted on the Epic Games Store, and if you’re so inclined, you can pick up the free currency guff from Rumble Club until Thursday, the 27th of June. Onto next week and I’ll not muck about here, it is Failbetter Games’ 2029 Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition. A Victorian-themed gothic horror RPG, and of course playing on the formula of 2015’s Sunless Sea.
