Monday, Pinball FX has new tables and a major update. Tuesday, Taskmaster VR (YES!) releases in JuneV Rising is coming to PS5, and Life by You has another bloody delay. Wednesday, Kingdom Hearts is coming to Steam, Nintendo acquired something from Embracer, and COD is crossing over with Gundam. Thursday, Necromantic is now in early access, for those who like this Bullet Heaven thing, and Train Simulator Classic 2024 is out now and has a subscription tier, for some reason.

Moving swiftly on to what is next on the Epic Games Store, I’ve got a feeling I’ll just be talking about Jeremy Clarkson, as this week you can pick up Farming Simulator 22. There is always something interesting about Farming Simulator games, especially since there are people who take it very seriously. Euro/American Truck I can slap on a VR headset and use a wheel, that’s easy enough. Farming Simulator isn’t as easy to do that with.

To properly simulate the farming experience as I’ve seen it you need a whole council kicking you to death in your sleep, a young man to shout at you for buying a Lamborghini tractor, and alongside needing billions of buttons and switches for the equipment, you need to be treated completely miserably. That, and you need millions of pounds to buy half the stuff you need, or even rent. Yet despite all of that, Giants Software has still made a reasonable game that quite frankly I get a desire to play regularly anyway. Even if it is utterly confusing at times.

All this week you can pick up Farming Simulator 22 on the Epic Games Store until the morning of the 30th of May. Suppose you also follow the Prime Gaming series. In that case, you probably want to give Clarkson’s Farm a watch too as that’s really good (and sometimes heartbreaking) despite having Clarkson’s regular scripted-documentary style established from Top Gear. I still can’t say anything about next week’s games, the Epic MEGA Sale is still ongoing and a majority of the games I mentioned last week are still on sale.
