V Rising Gets PS5 Release Date

Since Stunlock Studios’ V Rising was released in full on Steam, it has had a highly positive response. Both critics and the community alike have praised the survival Action-RPG. Now a whole new demographic of players will be able to enjoy the game, thanks to a new announcement.

V Rising will be released on PlayStation 5 on June 11^th. You can pre-order now and either pay for the Standard Edition ($39.99), Castlevania Edition ($59.99) or the Complete Edition ($99.99). Purchasing either the Castlevania or Complete editions of the game gives you early access on June 6^th instead of June 11^th. Here is what the press release has to say about the upcoming release.

“PlayStation 5 owners can finally sink their teeth into V Rising in its final form. Step into the shoes of a newly awakened vampire, construct your gothic castle, and explore an open world teeming with danger with seven regions to explore and 57 bosses to best. Hunt for blood alone or unite with a clan, battling alongside fellow vampires online. Rise in power and face the ancient tyrant Dracula himself in a showdown of epic proportions to rule the night.

Partnering with Sony and with additional support from Auroch Digital, Stunlock Studios has focused on creating optimal PlayStation 5 gameplay with UI improvements, as well as DualSense game controller support.

Console players can also experience the thrilling collaboration between Stunlock Studios and Konami Digital Entertainment (KONAMI) as they introduce the Legacy of Castlevania event in V Rising. Prepare to challenge the legendary vampire hunter Simon Belmont and unlock the whip weapon. Along with the free Castlevania content, vampire enthusiasts will be able to purchase the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack cosmetic DLC for 19.99 EUR/USD, allowing players to construct their own castles inspired by Castlevania’s classic gothic aesthetic.

The pack also contains further additions and customizations. PS5 players may also be interested in the pre-order Bundle of the V Rising Castlevania Edition for 59.99 EUR/USD (-10% PlayStation®Plus pre-order discount), giving you access to all of the delicious Castlevania cosmetics, as well as the five-day early access to begin playing June 6!

I haven’t had a chance to check out V Rising yet myself, but I have heard a lot of good things. As a lover of all things vampire-related, V Rising seems like a lot of fun. Regardless, interested PS5 players won’t have long to wait before June 11^th arrives.
