Did you know it is only March? I know, there have been two Nintendo-based showcases, a PlayStation one where Kojima told us he’s making yet another game, Xbox had a podcast that could have been an email, and NACON Connect happened last week that no one noticed. I think we might have had too many showcases in the matter of 8-10 weeks into the year, maybe we should slow down and leave some room for whatever takes the place of E3 this year? I guess not, according to the Xbox Wire.

Set to take place Wednesday, March 6th, 10 AM Pacific time, 1 PM Eastern, 6 PM GMT, the Xbox Partner Preview is set to look at what (third-party) is to come soon to the land of Xbox. As stated in the press release, we’ll see games from Capcom, Nexon, EA, and others. In the partner preview, we’ll see some trailers for several already-mentioned games, including Tales of Kenzera: ZAU. Set for an April release, this Metroidvania from Abubakar Salim’s Surgent Studios is certainly on my radar after its initial showing back at The Game Awards.

We’re also set to see more from Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which we first saw back at the Xbox and Capcom Showcases last summer. As I said back at the Xbox showing last year, this one seeks to bring a whole lot of Dynasty Warriors-style slicing and dicing to your screens alongside a kaleidoscope of colors. However, there wouldn’t be a day going by if we didn’t have to acknowledge another new Souls-like on the horizon, as NEXON is set to bring The First Berserker: Khazan at some point, with a closer look tomorrow.

The good news is that this Xbox Partner Showcase is set to only be 30 minutes in length, hopefully with good pacing. You can watch the showcase on the Xbox YouTube channel and its regional channels as well, or you can catch the showcase on the Xbox Twitch channels, including the ASL channel. The Xbox Partner Showcase should be available in more than 40 languages as well as offering audio descriptions. Once again highlighting that Xbox outdoes itself in terms of accessibility.
