Sins of the Flesh Update Comes to Cult of the Lamb

Sometimes fanbases get a little rowdy and come up with goofy gags. The Cult of the Lamb fanbase is one such group. I happen to be among them, so I have no shame in saying so. Funnily enough, what spawned from a gag is becoming a reality. Carnal delights have come to Cult of the Lamb.

In the free “Sins of the Flesh” update, across all available platforms, the titular Lamb can now do more than simply marry his followers. Of course, this comes with a slew of new quests, features, and more. This is the biggest update for Cult of the Lamb so far, and to celebrate it the developers are running a 40% discount until January 23^rd. Here is what the press release has to say about this newest update:

“The update arrives alongside news that Cult of the Lamb’s flock continues to swell, having now sold more than 3.5 million copies since its launch in 2022. Praise the Lamb.

New progression systems add more depth and complexity to managing the Cult of the Lamb. By following the sinful path, your followers will delight in gluttonous rituals, vain buildings, and wrathful doctrines. Invite your most loyal Followers to the inner circle of Disciples, a revamped leveling system of Follower progression.

Shiny poop, baneful brooms, and bigger, better buildings improve busy Cult life. Shiny poops have special effects, like yielding fruitful crops and adding XP to your broom. Leveling up your broom will make chores faster and more effective. To improve automation, there’s also a new tier for the Janitor Station and the Storage Structures so your Followers will take better care of themselves.

Blast heretics away with the new Blunderbuss weapon. When loaded, it fires big damage [sic] in close quarters to bring a new combat playstyle for your crusades. If you charge it up even more with a heavy attack, you can aim to snipe enemies from long range.

Each of your cultists can flaunt their Follower fashion at the new Tailor building. Once unlocked, each cultist can wear their own outfit, with 23 different styles to choose from. But your Cult is getting even more unique. When two Followers love each other very much, they might find an egg. Nurture the egg for it to hatch, then care for the offspring until they’re ready to pledge allegiance to your Cult.

But that’s not all. Indulge even further with the Sinful Pack, a new collection of cult cosmetics available for the alluring price of $4.99 (PC) / $6.99 (Console). This pack is the perfect way to indulge for those who enjoy a gluttonous aesthetic befitting kings and queens. Vanity might be a sin, but there’s nothing wrong with that.”

I’m excited to dive back into Cult of the Lamb. It’s an absolute blast, and with the new content update, I’m sure there’s even more to enjoy and discover other than what was listed. Massive Monster has been doing a lot of great work with Cult of the Lamb. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
