PlayStation 5 Game Gift Guide 2023

2023 was bursting at the seams with phenomenal games and many of those great games are playable on the PlayStation 5. From exclusive games to exclusive content and content that came early, the PlayStation 5 proved once again this year why it is leading the current generation of consoles. With that said, let’s dive into a bunch of the great games that came to the PlayStation 5 in 2023!

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon

After taking a bit of a break from the gaming world, Armored Core returned to us this year in the form of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. We haven’t had a great mech game since the release of Titanfall 2 back in 2016. With a score of 86 on Metacritic (as of the time of writing) Armored Core 6 is looking to be one of the best reviewed games of 2023. Hogwarts Legacy

The game that won Game of the Year in my heart, Hogwarts Legacy is a fantastic journey that is made for those who are die-hard fans of the Wizarding World and those who have never seen or read a single one of the 10 stories that have set the stage for its story. Set during the late 1800s at Hogwarts, you step into the feet of your witch or wizard to discover an ancient form of magic and prevent dark forces from gaining access to it. Your legacy begins today! Baldur’s Gate 3

The game that took the world by storm, broke so many records and was the top dog at the Game Awards this year is none other than Baldur’s Gate 3. This game by Larian Studios has raised the bar of what is to be expected from AAA games in the future, despite some developers trying to get that notion out of the heads of gamers. If you would like to experience this riveting adventure, consider starting this winter! Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

The third game in the Insomniac Spider-Man series, Spider-Man 2 continues the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they each navigate through various difficulties. The game does a great job of balancing the two out and proves to be one of the best superhero games that we have had in a long time. With Spider-Man 2 being a blast, it will be interesting to see what Insomniac Games will do with their upcoming Wolverine game. There won’t be any web swinging, but I have full faith in the studio to make another phenomenal game. Until then, it’s time to be better together!
