Phenixx Gaming’s 2023 Holiday Greetings

Even in a year like 2023 with everything that has gone wrong for so many people, I find that traditions are important. As such, Phenixx Gaming wants to extend its Holiday greetings to you and your family, no matter where you are or what is happening. 2023 has been a hard year for a lot of people, but there has been some brightness in it too. We had an amazing year of games, with games like Tears of the Kingdom, Baldur’s Gate 3, and other surprises lightening our days.

As usual for this time of year, Phenixx Gaming’s staff is going to take a bit of a break. We are preparing articles to be scheduled out from Monday, December 25^th all the way through the new year. We are currently planning to be back under normal operating procedures starting on Monday, January 8^th, 2024. Our weekly Epic Games coverage is going to take a slight break too, since we won’t be able to cover Epic’s daily offerings while we’re away.

We had some big, exciting things happen this year, from big coverage like Tears of the Kingdom and Final Fantasy XVI to Indie hits like Dave the Diver and Dredge. We also had a major blow, losing a founding member of the Phenixx Gaming family at the end of October. However, Lisa was more than just the Managing Editor. She was part of the inspiration for creating an entertainment news site with a focus on accessibility and diversity.

As such, we’re not stopping here. In 2024 we’ll continue to advocate for Accessibility causes, review games and content like we always have, and make sure that Phenixx Gaming grows bigger and better than ever. Our content might shift or change, nothing ever really stays the same in this business, but at its core, we’ll remain true to making sure we focus on giving the most accurate information we can.

We know we aren’t the only ones who had setbacks and struggles this year. The world is in a state of turmoil and a lot of people are suffering from things like food scarcity, homelessness, joblessness, and more. Our other mission statement for 2024 is to be a light, a distraction from frustration and darkness. So, you may wind up seeing some fun, silly content throughout the year too.

Whatever it is, let us know and we can try to at least sprinkle some in. As always, Phenixx Gaming will be here through whatever chaos the gaming industry goes through in 2024.
