Invincible Gaming Coming to PC Next Month

I’ve been a big fan of Invincible for a while now, even before the Amazon Prime animated adaptation. The expansive superhero universe crafted by Robert Kirkman has always been deserving of some sort of video game. There are dozens of unique, nuanced characters, creative settings, and intense plotlines that can foster interesting gameplay ideas while delivering a fresh tone within the superhero genre. Next month, fans can expect publisher Skybound’s first major entry for the series within the gaming industry.

Developed by Terrible Posture Games, Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is a visual novel RPG that will launch for PC on November 14th. The creative director for the game is Jill Murray who previously wrote for Assassins Creed III: Liberation and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Art direction for Atom Eve is helmed by Rossi Gifford, a former character designer for Marvel, Skybound, and Riot Games.

As the name would suggest, Invincible Presents: Atom Eve will focus on the side character of Atom Eve. Players can expect to explore Eve’s life beyond the background found in the comics. The story will be completely original and focus on how Eve tries to balance her life as a superhero alongside school, friends, and family. The player’s choices will shape Eve’s relationships and affect the outcome of the story. Certain decisions can unlock exclusive dialogue options. Choices will also impact how Eve’s light-based powers will develop and unlock various combat skills within the turn-based system.

I hope to see more RPGs or possibly some action games within the Invincible universe in the future.
