This week, the Indie developer DreadXP announced it will be hosting a special horror-themed showcase in partnership with the Media Indie Exchange. The event will be live-streamed on October 19th and will be hosted by Hurcan Kose, a prominent horror game personality within the indie space. Viewers who tune in can expect new announcements, trailers, and updates regarding dozens of Indie titles.
The full list of developers who will be taking part in the showcase is as follows. First is Raw Fury and Nightdive Studios who are responsible for Post Trauma and System Shock 2 respectively. Akapura Games, Torture Star Video, and Wired Productions will take part along with Atari, Beautiful Glitch, Black Tabby Games, Disorded Media, Modus Games, Misfit Village, Neon Doctrine, Ziggurat Interactive, and more.
DreadXP also announced ahead of the showcase that they will be premiering the first look of the upcoming title Creepshow. This game is an adaptation of a horror anthology by Shudder and Cartel in 2018 which acted as a follow-up to the successful 1982 film by Stephen King. Creepshow is set to release in 2024 on multiple platforms.
The game is directed by Brian Clarke who previously led development on Darkstone Digital’s The Mortuary Assistant. Fans of DreadXP can also expect new updates regarding the Lovecraftian-themed dating sim Sucker For Love: Date to Die For and the cosmic horror RPG Dread Delusion.
