In the glory days of in-browser flash games, I played just about every mini golf title I could find. They were simple, easy to pick up and put down, and were a nice way to kill a little time. I’ve had my eye on Dungeon Golf for a while now, and the Ant Workshop project is finally heading into Early Access on Steam. Here’s a look at what to expect in this devious golf sim.

Taking place like a televised event on Dungeon Golf Network, Dungeon Golf is a multiplayer title where underground deviants play mini-golf on wild courses. Much like the golf sims you’ve played in the past, the environments and even playable characters have a huge say in how you end up fairing.

Do your best to navigate lava, traps, and monsters and earn your place as the Dungeon Golf champ. Special skills and surroundings can give you an upper hand, or give you a reason to scream. Players can take on each other in multiplayer modes, but to my glee, there’s also a single-player mode. Quest Mode gives you a little background into the characters and allows you to increase your skills before taking on your friends.

The game features eight characters, each with their own unique moves and strategies. You’ll have your chance to take them on and learn how to maximize their talents, starting today.
