Bandai Namco Gamescom Lineup Revealed

In anticipation of Gamescom, Bandai Namco Europe has unveiled its suite of games that you can expect to see showcased at the event. The following titles will also all have playable builds available to test.

First up is the highly anticipated Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. This game will be released next month on August 25th. Apart from a short gameplay trailer and a brand new story trailer released this week, there is still a lot to learn about FromSoftware’s return to the mecha franchise.

On the anime side of things is Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections. This latest entry in the 3D Arena Fighter franchise expands upon the story of the previous four games with a focus on the spinoff series Boruto. In addition to new characters, this title will also feature an original story within the Boruto timeline.

In a similar vein, the upcoming anime RPG Sand Land will also be playable for the first time. This game is based on a manga series by Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. In Sand Land players take on the role of Beelzebub who is joined by Sheriff Rao and others on the search for a legendary spring hidden deep in this Desert World.

In terms of new IPs Bandai is bringing Park Beyond. Released this past June, Park Beyond is the studio’s take on the management Sim genre placing you in control of your own amusement park. Gamescom guests will also have a chance to go hands-on with Tekken 8.

The latest in the long-running fighting game series, Tekken 8 looks to shake up the gameplay once again with a heavy focus on aggression and outstanding visuals. In addition to all of these games, you can expect some additional reveals from the studio during the showcase.
