All-Star Battle R Adds Last Season 1 Character

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R has been steadily updated since its release last year. In addition to some new stages and characters added for free, four more characters were made available as DLC from a season pass. Although the first three were from earlier parts than those who have only watched the anime would know of, this latest one comes from Part 7 Steel Ball Run. Anyone who doesn’t know about what happens during that part is bound to be super confused as the final season 1 fighter to join is Alternate World Diego.

Remaining in tandem with most other characters from the same part, as well as the separate Diego Brando character that’s available in the base game, this version is also a mounted fighter with a horse. With his own stand version of The World, he can use it to attack from horseback or while unmounted. His stand has the same capabilities as it does with DIO, so expect some powerful techniques.

If this is the first time you’ve heard about him being added, you’ll be happy to know he’s already available to play. He was added for season pass owners on June 14th. He was also made available to purchase for everyone on June 16th. Fans of Alternate World Diego will want to check out this final season pass character.

However, the future remains bright as this won’t be the last character added to the game. A trailer for Alternate World Diego also revealed that season 2 is in development. It’s set to include three characters and a Haruno Shiobana costume for Giorno. While we don’t know who the new characters will be, we do know that they will hail from Part 5 Golden Wind, Part 4 Diamond is Unbreakable, and Part 8 JoJolion. The season pass is available to purchase now and the characters are expected to be added throughout Autumn and late Winter.
