Amid the excitement of the many reveals from this week’s PlayStation showcase, Microsoft announced which titles debuted by Sony will also be coming to PC and Xbox. All of these titles will also be coming to Gamepass as well.

First, let’s go over the unsurprising titles. Xbox and PC fans can (of course) expect to be able to play the newest Assassin’s Creed title Assassin’s Creed: Mirage along with EA’s newest IP Immortals of Aveum. When Immortals of Aveum was announced, it was confirmed to be cross-platform.

The more exciting titles that will be joining the Microsoft library include the hotly anticipated sequels Alan Wake 2, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Talos Principle 2, and Ghostrunner 2  respectively. One of the biggest surprises to come from this showcase came with the announcement of a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake and remastered collection of the first three games. It’s great to see this will also be on Xbox as well. Additionally, Bungie’s remake of the action shooter Marathon will be available to Xbox and PC gamers.

On the more indie side of things is Nemada Studios’ newest game Neva, Tuxedo Labs Teardown, and the 2d platformer The Plucky Squire. Furthermore, you can expect to see the cutesy action RPG Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean making its way to Microsoft systems.

This is certainly a fair amount of big titles and upcoming releases. Considering the lackluster exclusives from Xbox over the past ten years or so, I have to wonder what they will be showing at their own showcase which is slated for early June. Will it be simply a recap of the PlayStation show but without Spider-Man and Final Fantasy? Most likely this will be the case but nonetheless, I remain cautiously optimistic as the studio always manages to pull at least one interesting game out year after year.

I've been playing games since I was a little kid. I have a soft spot for Nintendo titles and RPG's but play all kinds of titles across a variety of platforms. Outside of games I love to play music and practice martial arts. You can find me on Facebook and Instagram as well.
