Monday, Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse will be another Metroidvania stepping up to the pyre to be spread like butter. Tuesday, AEW: Fight Forever is a month from release already, and Weird West is coming to the Switch with a definitive edition. Wednesday, Gerda: A Flame in Winter got some extended story DLC for its World War II setting. Thursday, PlayStation proved that Konami wants to make money, and Guilty Gear Strive‘s second season ends with what I can only assume is a Japanese wrestler previously known as Kana.
Moving on to the mystery game on the Epic Games Store this week, Fallout: New Vegas – Ultimate Edition. I covered this before when it appeared as part of Prime Gaming last November, and later covered it again with a full review. I’ve said my peace: The hype that says it is the best thing since sliced lesbians making up the base of a chorizo-topped pizza doesn’t interest me, Obsidian and Josh Sawyer made a good game but I still prefer Fallout 4. Focusing more on the world-building of Fallout, New Vegas gives you all the pieces for exploration and little else.
All this week, you can pick up Fallout: New Vegas – Ultimate Edition on the Epic Games Store until the morning of the 1st of June. Once again, next week is another mystery game. Just to make my life a living hell, Epic is holding out the hint videos until Tuesday. I have seen the speculation based on leaks from Epic’s Chinese site suggesting that it is Super Meat Boy Forever.
The leak noted it was joining Death Stranding from two weeks ago, and speculation suggests that it would be this week’s offering. Neither has been the case, so we’ll either start guessing and getting a better idea on Tuesday or wait until the 1st of June to find out.
