One of my favorite puzzle games from 2022 was A Little to the Left. While it had some issues with certain puzzles being a little hard to understand, the general idea was absolutely solid. Now, with their new DLC about to be released next month, developer Max Inferno and publisher Secret Mode are celebrating an impressive sales milestone.

According to the press release, “In six months since release, players have tidied up over 554 million campaign items, played over 173 million Daily Tidy puzzles, and used over 70 million hints.” Additionally, only 41% of players reached 100 percent completion (I’m not one of them) and 23% completed the game without hints.

Also, in celebrating this milestone of over 500,000 sales, the developers revealed that there are over 750 items to tidy up in the Cupboards & Drawers DLC. They also revealed that staff members took pictures of their cats specifically to use in the credits. Here is what the press release has to say about the upcoming DLC.

Sort, stack and organize household objects into particular arrangements. Prepare to clean out the cabinets and secret compartments of the home with even more charming illustrations, surprising scenarios, and 25 delightful new Cupboards & Drawers themed puzzles to discover.

New mechanics are being added in the Cupboards & Drawers DLC too, like secret compartments and multi-step levels. I’m very excited to check out this new DLC. Plus, with all the daily tidy options to check out each day, there’s an endless amount of content in A Little to the Left, even if you’re waiting to get the DLC until payday or even a sale. Though truth be told, the game itself is well worth the asking price, and the DLC will be too.
