Monday, someone huffed enough drugs and said Fortnite can be an Olympic Esport now. No, it isn’t early April, it is in fact May. Tuesday, games about being frustrated with transport, Mini Metro and Mini Motorwaysgot updates. Wednesday, the open beta for Street Fighter 6 was announced. Thursday, Fall Guys became similar to Against All Odds from last week with a creative mode, and you can now do the weeding legally on consoles. In the week of Tears of the Kingdom‘s release (it’s alright), it is not like the news would be wild.

Moving on to the Epic Games Store and what is available this week, The Sims 4. No, hold on, the game itself might already be free-to-play after years of contention with the older Sims fans, but The Daring Lifestyle Bundle is currently free. A collection that includes the Jungle Adventure game pack, Luxury Party stuff pack, and Fashion Street kit, or as we used to call something like this, a small expansion pack. It is nothing to grumble too much at, but when Epic itself calls this the “free game” for the week when it is simply an add-on, there isn’t much excitement either.

All this week, you can pick up The Sims 4‘s The Daring Lifestyle Bundle until the morning of Thursday, the 18th of May. Moving on to next week, much like the boring plod that runs Apple and can’t wave a flag to save himself, I want to strangle Tim Sweeney. Yes, it is that time of the year once again when in fact, we play the guessing game of what is next on the Epic Games Store. Speculation due to the teaser video on social media says it is Death Stranding again (probably not the director’s cut), but we’ll find out next week.
