Big Publisher Sales on Steam Are Live

This weekend is a great time to pick up a large variety of Indie games on Steam. There’s currently three separate publishers offering generous sales across their entire game catalogue. For strategy game fans like myself you’ll want to check out Paradox Interactive.

They are responsible for publishing titles such as Crusader Kings, Hearts of Iron, Stellaris, and Age of Wonders, the newest entry of which released this month. Easily the best deal right now is for Stellaris which is marked down 75% to just ten dollars. Additionally, most of their other titles have a variety of expansions and DLC offerings all at an affordable price.

Next is the popular Indie developer and publication studio Team 17 Digital. They have produced titles such as the Overcooked series, The Souls-like Thymesia, Roguelites such as Ship of Fools, and more. I’ve heard many good things about Dredge which is discounted 10% off.

The entire Overcooked series and DLC is available for 50-80% off. Also noteworthy is the sequel to Yooka Laylee which is available for just 4.50. Dubbed the Impossible Lair, this game focused in on the platforming aspects of the original title and was developed by the team behind Donkey Kong Country.

Finally, we have Annapurna Interactive. This studio has been a consistent producer of quality titles but has recently been thrust back into the spotlight with the release of Stray and Neon White. Both games are discounted by 20% right now. Other notable titles on sale include The Outer Wilds which is 40% off and the legendary atmospheric game Journey which you can grab for under ten dollars.

I’m particularly intrigued by the action-adventure game The Pathless which is discounted by 50% and has been on my radar for a while now. It features archery combat as the major focus and has a beautiful art style. Publisher sales are always a great way to expose smaller studios to a bigger audience. There are a lot of great titles out there and making them more affordable is a win-win for everyone. Be sure to take advantage while the deals are still live.
