There’s a simulator game for literally everything. Do you want to be a surgeon? How about driving a semi-truck? There are two certainties about simulator games. They’re bound to make one for every activity no matter how exciting or menial, and they’re usually pretty fun. Developer Produktivkeller Studios and publisher SunDust have brought their title Garden Simulator to consoles today and invite PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch fans to test out their green thumbs in some fun challenges.
In Garden Simulator, you begin your garden challenges with simple flower beds or greenery to get the ball rolling. Once warmed up, however, there are so many ornamentals to play with that truly make this one of the better simulators I’ve played recently. From fences and stone paths to planter boxes and more, there’s something for everyone who is interested in gardening. Already a sleeper hit on PC, it’s exciting to see Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One gamers get a chance to play.
From challenges that invite you to plant food to color challenges that push your ability to coordinate a jaw-dropping garden, you have a lot of fun awaiting, as well as some not-so-fun parts of gardening. It’s funny when you’re shown how to remove trash and weeds because, yeah, that’s something you have to be concerned about with gardening. The simulator genre is great at embracing every aspect of a hobby or task; this release is no exception.
With a surprisingly fun physics system and a ton of great content to test your creativity, you can play Garden Simulator now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. If you missed this one on PC where it was initially released, you can still get it there too.
