The beginning of April brought in some big titles to the Xbox Game Pass library and the latter half has even more exciting things to play. While plenty of other standout titles are coming out this month such as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Dead Island 2, there will be a lot of brand-new additions for Xbox Game Pass users as well. Let’s go over what’s being added over the next two weeks.

Kicking the wave off are two games on April 20th. Coming out on cloud, console, and PC is the day-one release of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly. If you enjoyed listening to fantastical people vent as you served them comforting beverages in the original Coffee Talk, you will surely enjoy this. Influence your patrons with your drinks and create your own latte art.

Joining it is Medieval Dynasty for Xbox One. This might seem familiar to some since we previously saw it added back in October for Xbox Series X|S. Those on the previous generation console can now enjoy this open-world title where players can build up their own dynasty.

Another day-one release is coming the day after with Homestead Arcana on cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. This 3D adventure places you in the role of a farming witch who will use magic to heal the land from invasive dark miasma. Customize your appearance and create your own personal farm along the way.

April 26th will see the day-one release of Cassette Beasts on PC. Mixing turn-based battle mechanics into an open-world RPG, players will use cassette tapes to collect and battle monsters. Become friends with your companions and you’ll even be able to fuse your monsters together into a much stronger creature.

Coming next are two games on April 27th. The first is the 2v2 tag fighter BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition for cloud, console, and PC. Just like Guilty Gear Strive being added at the beginning of March, this is the debut of this title on Xbox platforms. This “special edition” will come with all previous DLC and updates, meaning players will be able to enjoy characters from seven different series and rollback netcode.

That same day will see the day-one release of The Last Case of Benedict Fox being added for console and PC. Noir meets Lovecraft in a haunting Metroidvania. Players assume the role of the titular character as they use the powers of their demon companion to delve into decaying minds and fight the darkness within all in an effort to solve a mystery.

The last game being added is technically on May 2nd and it’s a day-one release that many are certainly curious about. Redfall will finally be launching on cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. An island filled with dangerous vampires awaits for players to take on solo or with other players in this open-world first-person shooter from Arkane Studios.

While we have a few games being added, we’ll be needing to say goodbye to a handful of others. The following games will be leaving the library on April 30th: Bugsnax, Destroy All Humans!, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Tetris Effect Connected, Unsouled.

Samuel (he/him) has been obsessed with video games since he was a kid watching bumbling zombies shuffle down a hallway in Resident Evil 20+ years ago (it's debatable if he should have seen a mature-rated game at that age but he's personally okay with it). His hobby of writing and talking people's ears off about video games has always felt like a perfect match. Feel free to let him talk your ear off on Twitter!: https://twitter.com/xxsammorenoxx
