Even though there was a lot to play with the second October wave such as Persona 5 Royal, the entire Amnesia series, and the well-received Signalis, the first November wave of titles is already here. There are ten new additions total and six are day-one releases to look forward to. Let’s break down what’s coming up.

Starting it off are three games available now and the first is the day-one release of The Legend of Tianding on cloud, console, and PC. It features Liao Tianding, a real-life legendary outlaw from Taiwan, in an adventure melded between history and mythology. Presented as a sidescrolling beat-em-up in a traditional Chinese Manga style, it’s also coming with an update that includes a boss rush mode and 4k 120 FPS ultrawide support. You can read my review on it here from when I played it on Steam last year.

Building off of the first two seasons of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead series, (added a month ago to Game Pass) are two more entries. Both The Walking Dead: Michonne and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier are available for PC. The former is a standalone series that fans of the show and readers of the comic will especially enjoy, while the latter continues the story established in the first two seasons.

November 3rd sees another day-one release with Ghost Song for cloud, console, and PC. Taking control of an awakened Deadsuit, cosmic horrors and mysteries await underneath the surface of a desolate moon. Secret chambers and new abilities alike can be found in this Metroidvania-inspired adventure.

Coming as a day-one release on November 8th for PC is Football Manager 2023. Leading your club to new heights is more challenging than ever with multiple revamps to mechanics and opposing manager AI. New features also include a Supported Confidence system and a Dynamic Manager Timeline. For those who want a more toned-down experience that focuses on the key mechanics, Football Manager 2023 Console will be available as a separate day-one release for cloud, console, and PC.

If you haven’t played the recently released Return to Monkey Island, you’ll be happy to know that it’s also being added on November 8th for cloud, console, and PC. This new chapter in the iconic Monkey Island series follows Guybrush Threepwood again all the while modernizing the familiar puzzle and point & click elements.

Previously made available through PC Game Pass back in May, Vampire Survivors will be made available for Xbox consoles on November 10th. It captured a lot of people thanks to its satisfying combat and the hundreds of enemies it throws at you. With the 1.0 release having launched on October 20th, now is the perfect time to check it out.

The final two additions for this wave come in on November 15th. Pentiment, the latest work from Obsidian Entertainment, will have its day-one release on console, cloud, and PC. Set in the early 16th century, this mystery RPG follows an illustrator right in the middle of a series of murders. The accusation of who the culprit is will rest entirely on his shoulders, along with the consequences.

Somerville joins it as another day-one release for console and PC. Set against the backdrop of a planetary conflict, a man is separated from his family and has to venture forward into unknown and dangerous situations to reunite with them. Potentially similar to Limbo and Inside, dialogue may take a backseat to an experience conveyed through the environment.

Some games will be leaving as the new ones come in. November 8th will see Football Manager 2022 and Football Manager 2022 Xbox Edition depart just in time for the successor versions. These remaining titles will leave on November 15th: Art of Rally, Fae Tactics, Next Space Rebel, One Step from Eden, and Supraland.

His hobby of writing and talking people's ears off about video games has always felt like a perfect match. Feel free to let him talk your ear off on Twitter!: https://twitter.com/xxsammorenoxx
