One of the most impactful characters in all of My Hero Academia is Mirio Togata. Of course, readers and watchers of the series know him by his hero name, Lemillion. In the hit multimedia franchise, Lemillion is literally everything you’d want a real hero to be: He’s kind, ultra-powerful, and selfless when it comes to helping others and the defenseless. The mobile game My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero hasn’t featured this fan favorite thus far in this release, but that’s about to change. Soon, you’ll be able to add Lemillion to your experience in a timed event from the team at Crunchyroll Games. Here’s what you need to know!
Firstly, let’s refresh everyone on what My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is. If you don’t play, then here’s what you need to know plot-wise. The game transports players into the world of Midoriya and friends, with more than 20 playable characters from the anime. Since the team at Crunchyroll Games published this game, there are a lot of great tie-ins and events like the upcoming Lemillion event. When the game launched in May of 2021, it became the number one overall app in the United States for a week and drove more than 600% growth for mobile MMORPGs within six months. Since then, it hasn’t shown signs of slowing down by any means. In fact, fun additions have made it a regular check-in title in my mobile gaming library.
On August 17, Lemillion became available through the Limited Time Recruit for 2 weeks before he will disappear in September when the campaign ends on August 31st. Lemillion’s custom EX Support cards will also be available in a limited card recruit during the same period. Fans know that Mirio is a fast attacker that evades opponents while also throwing punches and kicks from every angle. That will definitely translate to the game, including the use of his quirk, “Permeation” to evade enemy attacks and delivers counterblows. Continually use his skills and abilities to charge up more power for his onslaught of moves.
My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero has been downloaded more than 13 million times globally and is based on the smash-hit anime My Hero Academia. The mobile MMORPG launched in 2021 in the US and EU to huge fan excitement, becoming the number one overall App in the United States for the week of launch. As you can imagine, a manga and anime series with this many fans definitely translates to the mobile game. The good news here is that the actual gameplay and execution from the Crunchyroll Games team are stellar. Fans of the franchise will definitely want to check out the game and add Lemillion to their strategic approach before he leaves in this timed event. The game is available on iOS and Android.
