Powerwash Simulator Is Coming to Game Pass

A year ago, if you told me that I’d be happily discussing a game about something as mundane as powerwashing, I’d have said you were crazy. However, Powerwash Simulator charmed me from the moment I started playing the Early Access build. Futurlab and Square Enix Collective are gearing up for the July 14^th release date with an exciting new announcement.

Powerwash Simulator will release on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on July 14^th. Furthermore, it will immediately be available on the Game Pass platform for both PC and Xbox consoles at launch. Here is what the press release has to say about the game.

With power washer in hand, they can experience the unique views and bizarre happenings of Muckingham while blasting away every speck of dirt and grime they can find. Players build up their own successful power-washing business, unlocking new tools and upgrades to help clean more efficiently – all with the simple satisfaction of power-washing to a sparkling finish. POWERWASH SIMULATOR promises and delivers the kind of good, clean fun that puts the power of relaxation into the hands of the player.”

Futurlab COO Chris Mehers commented on the announcement, stating: “POWERWASH SIMULATOR is so uniquely satisfying that we want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy it. Game Pass is the ideal way of making that happen.”

Phil Elliott, the studio head for the Square Enix Collective also commented, stating: “We’re delighted that POWERWASH SIMULATOR will become part of Game Pass so that millions more gamers will be able to experience the soothing gameplay.”

While this announcement and release mark the end of Powerwash Simulator’s Early Access period, the developers have stated that this is not the end. They intend to add more content and updates in the months and years to come and will be taking player feedback into account as they do so. The future is bright (and clean) for Powerwash Simulator, and Game Pass is one piece of that future.
