After a packed first wave this month, the next set of games coming to Xbox Game Pass are sure to have something for everyone. Players can look forward to some well-known and popular titles, as well as a couple of day one releases. Let’s break down everything that will become available for the rest of April 2022.

First are two EA Play titles that will be cloud additions. F1 2021 was initially added to the service for consoles only last month, while Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered was added for console and PC last year. Both racing games are now available to play through the cloud on a variety of devices.

Joining them in immediate availability on cloud, console, and PC, is Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. Solve puzzles, harvest crops, and explore dangerous dungeons in the cute world of a turnip committing tax evasion against Mayor Onion.

Next are two titles coming on April 26th. The first is Research and Destroy, a day one title that will be available for console and PC. Choose between three scientists and various zany weapons to take on hordes of supernatural monsters in this part third-person shooter part turn-based strategy game. A friend can be brought along as well through either online or offline split-screen co-op.

The second is the ever-popular 7 Days to Die which is coming to cloud, console, and PC. Take on an open world filled with zombies by yourself or with other players as you craft, build, and try to survive in this first-person shooter. An even greater challenge is available for those who want to test their luck in randomly-generated worlds.

Rounding out the list are the last two games being added on April 28th. Coming day one to console and PC is Unsouled, a 2D Action RPG with beautiful pixel art. Although the game entered Early Access last November and its official release date was announced pretty recently, we only learned last week that the game would be coming out on Xbox Game Pass.

Along with it will be the popular 2020 title Bugsnax. Similarly, we learned that this would be coming to Xbox Game Pass and many other platforms just last week. It comes just in time as The Isle of Bigsnax free content update is set to come out the very same day.

Something interesting that was mentioned in this post was that more Ubisoft games will be coming to the service. Back in January, it was announced that both Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege were being added to Xbox Game Pass and would be available by connecting through Ubisoft Connect. We’ll see two more games join sometime over the next two months with Assassin’s Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition.

As always, we’re left with some games leaving at the end of the month. The following games will not be available on the service after April 30th: Cricket 19, Outlast 2, Secret Neighbor, and Streets of Rage 4.

Samuel (he/him) has been obsessed with video games since he was a kid watching bumbling zombies shuffle down a hallway in Resident Evil 20+ years ago (it's debatable if he should have seen a mature-rated game at that age but he's personally okay with it). His hobby of writing and talking people's ears off about video games has always felt like a perfect match. Feel free to let him talk your ear off on Twitter!: https://twitter.com/xxsammorenoxx
