It always happens. You finish a game, and there’s suddenly a void where that game was in your life. Especially if you’ve just spent 200 hours beating a long RPG or if you’re one of the people just coming up for air after diving headlong into Elden Ring. So, if you’re looking for something to play this weekend, Xbox has you covered.

In addition to the City Builder Before We Leave, Lost Judgment and Far Cry 6 are both available on Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass for free this weekend. Lost Judgment is the sequel to Judgment, and follows Takayuki Yagami as he attempts to solve a murder case that involves a prestigious school. Several themes in the game include taking on bullying and a few darker things such as sexual assault and suicide.

Despite those dark themes, if you like the Yakuza franchise, Lost Judgment is a good option to spend a weekend (and beyond) with. Alternately, if you’re more of the “let’s take on a dictator” type, Ubisoft has you covered.

Also available this weekend is Far Cry 6, where you try to liberate the fictional country of Yara from the grasp of a tyrant. There is currently a free Stranger Things season 4 tie-in mission that is available in the game as well. So, if you’re looking to take down Anton Castillo either alone or with a friend, now would be a good time to check it out.

Overall, there’s a lot to enjoy this weekend. Then, if you find yourself wanting to continue your adventures, you can always pick the games up now or at a later date. If you have been on the fence about purchasing either of these games, now might be the best opportunity to give them a look on Xbox.
