Both the first and second waves of games that were released on Xbox Game Pass during February had some heavy hitters that were sure to interest many. It’s now time to go over what’s coming for March and although it looks light in the number of games offered, you’ll have great choices between some well-received titles and plenty to sink all of your time into this month.

Available now on Cloud, Console, and PC, and a day one release is FAR: Changing Tides. The sequel to FAR: Lone Sails features a new protagonist, new mechanics, and new areas set within the same decaying world to struggle against. It’s an atmospheric adventure where your only enemy is the environment.

For any aviation fanatics out there, a great piece of news is that Microsoft Flight Simulator is coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming. Whether you have a custom pilot set-up or just want to play on your phone or tablet, it’s even easier for you to take a trip in the skies.

Coming alone on March 3rd to Console and PC is Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. The game is the third and final entry in the Final Fantasy XIII series and changes things up with a whole new battle system and a focus on the titular Lightning. Choices matter and so does your choice of how to spend your time as an in-game timer counts down the number of days you have left to save the world. With the addition of this game, the entire Final Fantasy XIII trilogy can be experienced on Xbox Game Pass.

The remainder of the month’s offerings will be available on March 10th. First among them is the day one release of Young Souls on Cloud, Console, and PC. It’s a gorgeous RPG-meets-beat ’em up game that can be enjoyed by yourself or with a friend in co-op. Train and buy some new duds in the world you know before traversing to the dangerous goblin-filled world.

Another game coming out on that same day is one that was meant to come out in February but was delayed. Starting on March 10th, more players will be able to partake in the calm upkeep of lawns when Lawn Mowing Simulator comes to Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One consoles.

An equally calm and captivating game will also be available on Cloud, Console, and PC with Kentucky Route Zero. The point-and-click released five acts over seven years and has been critically acclaimed for its visuals and story elements. If you haven’t played it before, it will certainly be worth trying it out.

Finally, we have what is likely to be considered the biggest game with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy on Cloud, Console, and PC. Released less than five months ago to highly positive reviews, the game puts you in control of Star-Lord as he and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy try to clean up a problem they started. Various team attacks and abilities should keep you interested as much as the different branching choices and paths will. If you’d like to know more about the game, you can read Alexx’s review here.

A new wave of games coming in also sadly means that some games will be on their way out. The games leaving on March 15th are Nier: Automata, Phogs!, The Surge 2, and Torchlight III.

Samuel (he/him) has been obsessed with video games since he was a kid watching bumbling zombies shuffle down a hallway in Resident Evil 20+ years ago (it's debatable if he should have seen a mature-rated game at that age but he's personally okay with it). His hobby of writing and talking people's ears off about video games has always felt like a perfect match. Feel free to let him talk your ear off on Twitter!: https://twitter.com/xxsammorenoxx
