Last year, we covered the announcement of Die After Sunset, a Roguelite from Playstark being published by PQube. Now, the developers have finally announced when the game will come to Early Access. Playstark announced that Die After Sunset will have an Early Access launch beginning on February 11th.

Here is what the press release has to say about the upcoming game. “Die After Sunset is a 3rd person roguelite with a unique light and darkness mechanic. In a race against the inevitable sunset, it’s up to you to tool up with an astonishing array of items, gadgets, and weapons to help you take down colossal Murkor bosses! But remember, death is not the end – for every defeat will only make you stronger. Collect Mukus from the fallen Murkors and cash it in, back at base to empower yourself for your next run!”

The game will launch in Early Access with two playable characters with differing playstyles, three levels each with their own boss, tons of items, power-ups, missions to undertake, and much more. On top of that, the game will be 20% off for the week of launch until February 18th. Additionally, the developers have already begun prepping content updates and lots of plans for the future.

Here is the development team’s comment on the release: “Our early access release is just the start of plenty of things to come. Over the next three months, we will be adding new levels, characters, items, missions and constantly tweaking Die After Sunset with the help of community feedback. The future looks bright for Die After Sunset. It gives me a sort of Atomicrops vibe, minus the farming elements. These are the types of games that elevate indie games above AAA titles, unique concepts, and fun ideas.
