Season’s Greetings from Phenixx Gaming!

It’s that time again! This is a bit of a Phenixx Gaming tradition, and a lot of our recurring readers are probably well aware of what I’m gonna say here. However, for those of you who are new to the Phenixx Gaming family this year, welcome. The Phenixx Gaming team is going on a two-week break, so we can celebrate the holidays and spend some time with loved ones.

Granted, this isn’t going to be very noticeable for you folks. As you’re reading this, we’ve already scheduled 3 articles per day in our usual schedule for the duration of this two-week period. Instead of 4 articles per day, we’ve pared things down to three per day for these two weeks, and the staff is taking a bit of time to recharge.

So, from Saturday, December 18^th, to Sunday, January 2^nd, we’ll be on break. Things will resume their usual pace on January 3^rd, and we’ll dive right into 2022. The last two years have been hard for a lot of folks, and I won’t lie and say that things are going to magically be better in 2022. However, we fully intend to continue our work in providing not only reliable content but also great distractions from the everyday chaos.

This is a great time to reach out to us on Twitter (via @PhenixxG) and let us know some of the things you’d like to see us talk about in the New Year. If all goes according to plan, we’d like to get our Twitch stream established and possibly throw out a few new surprises for our readers as well. The big thing though is that we want to reach as many folks as possible, so if you’re already sharing our content with friends and family, know that we greatly appreciate it.

If you haven’t shared us with other friends and family, please know that every little bit helps, and even just sharing it with a friend or two could make a difference. This site is (and has always been) a passion project, and we simply want to make sure we’re bringing the best content we can to you and yours.

We’ve had a few new faces join our ranks over the past year, and a few familiar faces said goodbye and went on to pursue their dreams and goals. The Phenixx Gaming family is a growing and changing organism, and we’re not going to stop pursuing what matters most. Phenixx Gaming’s mission statement has always included shining a spotlight on underserved communities in gaming, and we’re hoping to do even more of that in the New Year.

So, with all of that out of the way, I’ll leave you with the same statement I give every year. Hold tight to your loved ones, spend some time with family and friends, and just enjoy this time of year. Even if things are difficult, or money is tight, find some small pleasure and enjoy it. We’ve had a long year, a long few years even, so taking the time to enjoy the small moments is important.
