Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures Announced for Spring 2022

Here at Phenixx Gaming, we love farming games. Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, Kitaria Fables, and a variety of other games have kept us engaged over the years. Now, French publisher Just For Games, and developer FRAG Games have announced a new farming adventure coming this Spring! Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures features familiar elements, as well as a few surprises.

Here is what the press release has to say about Life in Willowdale: “Not your garden variety farming game, Life in Willowdale features an expansive world to explore as you start sowing, growing, and harvesting, with mysterious creatures and uncommon encounters!

The once-thriving community of Willowdale is in ruins, as the mayor’s daughter Penny is turning the town into a tourist trap, driving away the animals and upsetting the balance of nature. Amid public outcry, your uncle, the mayor, has asked you to return to your family farm to help restore harmony and town spirit in Willowdale. But it may not be that easy…

Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures features farming gameplay, a cozy town filled with friendly locals, and adventures across the region. In addition to farming, the game will have lots more on offer for an engaging and fun experience. “

Life in Willowdale will release in Spring 2022 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation consoles, and PC on Steam. The developers have been a little vague on just how much content is going to be available at launch, but from what I see so far, genre staples like fishing will be included. You can wishlist the game now on Steam and be notified when updates such as the release date are made available. I know I’ll be keeping an eye on the development of Life in Willowdale. The visuals are cute and the design is reminiscent of Harvest Moon, so what’s not to like?
