It would seem that in an unprecedented move, Valve has responded to the leaks foretold by the Steam sale-predicting wizards over at Steam Database. Thankfully, rather than politely asking the fine folks who operate SteamDB to stop leaking information about upcoming Steam sales, Valve has simply officially confirmed that the time windows those wizards leaked are indeed when 2021’s last two major discount extravaganzas will bear down upon our wallets. I, for one, find myself breathing a huge sigh of relief in the wake of that.

If you’re a recurring reader of ours, you may recall that I reported upon the original leak of these sale dates back in mid-August. I also did the exact same thing last year in an article concerning 2020’s Halloween, Autumn, and Winter Sale dates, in case you’re keeping score at home. Regardless, in case you missed my first article on this year’s leaked sale information, you can now consider yourself armed with the knowledge necessary to bolster your Steam backlog while spending considerably less money than you would otherwise have to.

According to PC Gamer, Valve has apparently already confirmed that 2021’s Halloween Sale will start this Thursday, October 28th, and run through Monday, November 1st. This sale (along with the remaining two) will more than likely begin and conclude at 10am Pacific Time on those respective dates. Valve has now completed the trifecta of this year’s final sales by publicly confirming the dates for the upcoming Autumn and Winter Sales. The Steam Autumn sale will run from November 24th to November 30th. The Steam Winter sale will run from December 22nd to January 5th.

I’d like to leave today’s final word to you, dear readers. Which of these three sales are you most looking forward to, and why might that be? Which titles do you hope to receive the deepest discounts? No matter your responses to these questions, the fact remains that I hope you’re ready for a miracle, to quote the age-old meme that crops up whenever a Steam sale rolls around. I know I most certainly am!

David Sanders is, at his core, a man who's just trying to get through his game backlog before the heat death of the universe, and yet can't seem to stop adding to said game backlog. He greatly enjoys many different varieties of games, particularly several notable RPGs and turn-based strategy titles. When he's not helping to build or plan computers for friends, he can usually be found gaming on his personal machine or listening to an audiobook to unwind.
