Rampart is Getting Her Heirloom

It seems customary at this point that with the midseason balance changes, we should receive a new collection event in Apex Legends. This season is no different, as we are getting the Evolution Collection event. The focus of this event is on Rampart.

Having an heirloom for a legend is one of the ways to show they are your “main.” With the Evolution Collection event, Rampart players will be able to acquire their heirloom for the modder. Along with her heirloom, Rampart is also receiving a slight rework. Rampart’s heirloom was leaked back in May, but at the time it was shown in a very rough state. The red and grey wrench is truly perfect for Rampart. With a built-in gum dispenser, a small sticker on the handle, and the charm on the bottom, this wrench shows a lot about the character. Getting the heirloom will allow Rampart to wield it when her weapons are holstered and swing it when you melee attack.

Along with her heirloom, Rampart is getting a rework to her ultimate. Her minigun (Sheila) is going mobile. When Rampart pulls out Sheila she will be able to walk around and shoot with it. However, it will take longer to spin up while Sheila is mobile, and it only has one magazine. Rampart still has the option to place Sheila on the ground if she wants, and it will function the way it has previously when placed.

The Evolution event also features the Rampart town takeover. Rampart will be claiming a spot close to Lava City in the World’s Edge map. Her POI is called Big Maude, featuring Rampart’s shop and a paintball arena outside. The draw of this POI is Rampart’s custom modded paintball weapons for sale inside the main building. These can be purchased with materials you collect during the game and are fully modded guns.

No collection event is complete without limited-time skins, and the Evolutions event does not disappoint. This time around we are getting skins for Wraith, Octane, Pathfinder, Fuze, Bangalore, Rampart, and Lifeline. The event will also feature legendary and epic weapon skins that have not been fully revealed at this time.
