When I played CrossCode on PlayStation 4, I really enjoyed it. The concept of a true Virtual Reality experience where you are actually in the game was very interesting to me. Plus, the puzzles and combat were stellar. The critically acclaimed DLC titled “A New Home” is now on consoles, so people can continue the CrossCode adventure on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

The DLC isn’t that expensive and will cost you only $9.99 for content spanning 8-10 hours of gameplay. There are brand new challenging enemies and boss fights, as well as the largest dungeon in CrossCode. This is what the press release has to say about the DLC.

With A New Home the story of CrossCode expands even further. The story starts right after the events of the main game and players will be able to finally figure out what happened to Lea and all their beloved characters. The time has come to once and for all finish the raid.

Currently, the DLC is only available on consoles in North America and Europe. However, it will be coming to Japan soon. Additionally, a PlayStation 5 version will be released globally at some point.

I’m very interested in seeing the next phase of CrossCode’s story, along with the conclusion of the raid. If you’ve played CrossCode already, now is the perfect time to dive back in. If not, I definitely recommend picking up the main game and the DLC, playing through both.

Radical Fish Games has done a fantastic job with CrossCode, and I think this DLC is just the next step in a bright future ahead of them. Check out our review of CrossCode if you want to learn more before you buy the game.
