About a week ago, I sent Alexx a link to a Eurogamer article about a rumored Castlevania remaster. I think we can all agree that we’d love a good amount of Castlevania to play this year as some comfort food… or gaming. Well, here is something to all but verify an announcement from Konami that there is a remaster on the horizon.

To give a moment of context, we have recently seen some rumors surrounding Konami and their IP. Of course, we can all joke that they are just farting out pachinko machines and banking in on their IP for no better reason. However, as the company announced itself while others were jumping to join E3 2021, they would be skipping this year’s event as they are “in deep development on a number of key projects.” All while we have rumors of Metal Gear/Metal Gear Solid remakes.

After Castlevania Advance Collection was leaked by the Australian rating board just over a week ago for multiple platforms, another rating board all but announce it with a trailer. This (Thanks VG247) time the leak comes from the Korean rating board, stating similar information and giving the collection a rating of 12. VG247 took a wild guess, stating that the Castlevania Advance Collection might be the three Gameboy Advance games re-released onto PC and most likely the Nintendo Switch too.

As I said up top, I think we all want a good bit of Castlevania to tide us over towards the end of the year. I know I do. How about you?
