E3 2021 Freedom Games Roundup

Our E3 2021 coverage continues with the Freedom Games Showcase. If you’ve been watching the different showcases, then you know that there’s a ton of great games coming to your favorite gaming platform. Hopefully, we’ll add to that list today. Let’s get to it!

First up, we have Dreamscaper from developer Afterburner Studios. Dreamscaper is an Action Rogue-like combining elements from Brawlers, Top-Down Shooters, and Dungeon Crawlers. Every dream is a different dungeon in an ever-changing world, with tons of unique events and challenges. Play as Cassidy, dive into her subconscious and take on the nightmares she wrestles with to save her from a dark fate.

Dramscaper comes out of Early Access and launches on Nintendo Switch on August 12^th.

Next, we have Airborne Kingdom from developer The Wandering Band. In Airborne Kingdom you’ll grow your town above the clouds, fly across an open skyscape, and fulfill the needs of your people. You’ll also enjoy brand new features including a creative sandbox mode, additional hard difficulty, and new game+.

Airborne Kingdom is available now on the Epic Games Store and is coming to PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as Nintendo Switch later this year.

Moving on, we have Coromon from developer TRAGsoft. Coromon is a modern monster taming game with pixel-art graphics. Coromon provides an immersive storyline, turn-based combat, and challenging puzzles.

Coromon is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch in 2022.

Continuing, we have Cat Café Manager developed by Roost Games. In Cat Café Manager your job is to build and manage your own cat cafe, adopt stray cats, and become friends with the townspeople. Collect cafe furniture and food recipes to make your customers feel at home, then use your collection of unique cats to delight them.

Cat Café Manager is coming to PC and Switch in 2022.

Next, we have To The Rescue! developed by Little Rock Games. To The Rescue! is a Simulation game where you play as someone working in a dog shelter, taking on all the responsibilities that entails. It won’t be easy, but I bet it will be fun. Plus, 20% of every dollar that Little Rock Games makes goes to the Pet Finder Foundation. Isn’t that cool? Having fun while supporting a good cause is always a win-win.

To The Rescue! is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch later this year.

Now for something less cuddly and heartwarming, we have Slaughter League, by developer Microwave Games. “Slaughter League is a fast-paced multiplayer extravaganza that will pit you against up to 10 friends (or enemies!) in a daring race to the finish line. Will your skills measure up and help you take first place? Run as fast as you can (just watch out for those Tesla coils), jump as high as possible (but avoid the buzzsaws, of course), and slide your way to victory while dodging any spikes along the way. Now hurry, we need more lambs to the slaughter!”

Slaughter League is coming to Steam in 2022.

Next up is Dark Deity, a Tactical RPG, from developer Sword & Axe. “Command legendary heroes to reshape a land fractured by broken oaths, reckless wars, and secret arcane powers. Claim ancient artifacts and powerful weapons to empower your cast of 30 voiced, playable characters as they form bonds and battle their way to becoming legends.”

Dark Deity is coming soon to Steam.

Let’s slide on over to the next game, shall we? One Lonely Outpost, developed by Aurorian Games, is a space farming sim set on a barren alien planet.

“Start a farming colony and grow it into a vibrant community. Choose from traditional animals and natural produce or opt for robo-cows and gene-spliced crops. You can take a break from farming by mining, socializing with colonists, finding a love interest, exploring alien ruins, and so much more!”

One Lonely Outpost is coming to Steam Early Access in 2022,

Moving forward, we’ve got Sands of Aura by developer Chashu Entertainment. Sands of Aura is a Souls-like, Action RPG with an open world, tiered levels of difficulty, 7 distinct fighting styles, dozens of armor sets with their own unique defenses, and more.

We don’t have a release date yet, but you can Wishlist it now on Steam.

Continuing on, we have Tower Rush from developer Megaglope Studios. Tower Rush is an action-RTS, unit recruitment survival game. “Hire units, learn new abilities, gain Talents, earn Achievements, fight over 150+ unique enemies, and much more in this exciting take on the tower defense and action game genre.”

Tower Rush is coming to Steam in 2022.

Finally, we have Anuchard developed by StellarNull. Anuchard is a retro-inspired, 2D Action RPG, in which you play as a Bellwielder to retrieve the souls of missing people and restore the world’s fallen civilization.

Anuchard is coming to PC and Xbox in 2022.
