The odd thing about last year’s Game of the Year discourse was the amount of love Hades got despite only being on Switch and PC. There are hundreds of thousands of people who haven’t played what some considered the best game of 2020. In my eyes, few games surpass Hades in the last 5 years, let alone 2020. Good news, PlayStation fans: the game might be heading your way.

Let’s be clear before we talk about the actual news piece circulating online. There are plenty of reasons that this rumor could end up becoming a fake-out. Plenty of tiny mistakes and typos, particularly when we’re looking at foreign language boards, can end up being wrong. That said, one of the best signs that a game is coming to a new console is when a review board starts looking into its publishing on a new console. It appears that’s what we’re going to get with Hades.

According to some digging via ResetEra, Hades has been rated by the Korean review board for PlayStation 4. Now, I can’t in my right mind assume the game would come to PS4 and not PS5. That means there’s a good chance we’re getting an announcement for the game’s arrival this year. My favorite thing about these rumors is that a lot of people still haven’t played Hades. With the game on two of the world’s biggest consoles, that will soon change.
