The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Announced

Capcom announced Wednesday the arrival of a new Ace Attorney game for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC. Well, if you’re from Japan they won’t be new, but to Western gamers they are. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is releasing for the first time in North America and Europe on July 27th. A sort of prequel to the Ace Attorney story we know well, this new title includes The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve.

You’ll be able to grab Chronicles for $39.99 USD. A digital bundle of both The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy will be available as well on PS4, PC, and Switch for $59.99. In the new game, you’ll explore the story of an ancestor of Phoenix Wright, the protagonist of the iconic Ace Attorney courtroom adventure series. Both games in the new collection feature English voice acting for Western audiences.

Follow Ryunosuke Naruhodo as he works to sleuth out the truth in witnesses’ testimonies and clear his clients’ names in court. Players will unravel the mysteries behind 10 thrilling cases alongside a zany cast of over-the-top characters, including the local ace detective Herlock Sholmes. These games are a great Point-and-Click experience with quite a bit of critical thinking involved. If you enjoy puzzles, then I’d highly recommend grabbing this when it releases in the summer!

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles will also feature exciting bonus content including eight additional mini-episodes and three alternate costumes that were previously released as DLC content in Japan.
