New RWBY: Grimm Eclipse – Definitive Edition Trailer Arrives!

I’ll admit, I’m very behind on RWBY. The series is gorgeous to look at, but I fell off after a while. However, I am very excited for Aspyr Media’s upcoming Nintendo Switch release of RWBY: Grimm Eclipse. Launching May 13^th, RWBY: Grimm Eclipse – Definitive Edition brings all the DLC and updates from the base game to the Nintendo Switch.

Aspyr Media is celebrating this with a brand new trailer, as well as a special giveaway for fans. If you’re interested in what RWBY: Grimm Eclipse is all about, check out this info from the press release:

“Featuring scenes with RWBY’s infamous characters – Ruby, Weiss, Black, and Yang – the new video takes players inside the intense action as they fight to stop the evil forces of the Grimm and Doctor Merlot. In regards to the giveaway, the press release states that fans can “enter for a chance to win one of three (3) ultimate RWBY prize packs, valued at $1,000 each. Each prize pack includes a limited edition Alpha Beowulf statue, an RWBY Grimm Street Fight print art set by artist Yin Shian Ng, the RWBY Semblance Sumi-E weekender bag, an RWBY x Ein Lee Ruby pint glass set, a RWBY Team RWBY throw blanket, a one-year subscription to Rooster Teeth First, and a digital copy of the game for Nintendo Switch.”

In fact, there is word that Rooster Teeth Games is working with WayForward and Arc System Works on a new RWBY game coming this year (barring any major delays.) Hopefully, the Switch release of Grimm Eclipse will go smoothly too. Fans of the series will enjoy playing with friends in couch co-op or online, for sure.
