I think we’ve all heard of that person who has a proverbial rain cloud hanging over them. The Debbie Downer, the Sad Sal, and the Morose Mindy are a few examples, though I made the last two up. Have you ever wanted to be the cloud hanging over them? That jerk that just rains on everyone’s parade? Well, on April 15th, you can!

Rain on Your Parade is a slapstick comedy game where you play as a mischievous cloud. Your goal is to rain on people’s parades, screw up their big days, etc. Here is what the official press release has to say about Rain on your Parade.

Travel the world as a cute cardboard cloud set to rain on everyone’s parade! Help Cloudy the Cloud on its adventure to the mythical rain paradise: Seattle. Along the journey, you’ll face an array of unique settings, challenges, spoofs, and satire. Unlock new powers, meet quirky characters, draw custom cloud faces, collect cool hats, accessories, and so much more!

Rain on Your Parade is a slapstick comedy game where you play as a mischievous cloud. Turn a perfectly sunny wedding into a bride’s worst nightmare, steal priceless art, meet Scranton’s favorite paper-pushers, and rain meteors down on dinosaurs. Yes, not even the dinos are safe!

Honestly, this seems like Untitled Goose Game’s jerk goose turned up to eleven. I absolutely love this idea. Rain on Your Parade offers 50 levels spoofing popular games, television series, and general big day scenarios. You can even unlock décor to spruce up your cloud!

Rain on Your Parade will release on April 15th, 2021 on PC (Win/Mac/Linux), Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. I personally love quirky games like this, so I can’t wait to see what Rain on Your Parade is like once it launches.
