Barry Hitman and I did a lot of work this week, as I sent him off into Whittleton Creek for… business. As I said in the review (linked below), the Hitman series is a strange one I have a relationship with, greatly enjoying previous games like Blood Money, which David reviewed this week. However, I have a not-so-confident relationship with the new one that IO has been putting out since 2016. They aren’t bad, they are personally just lacking in that je ne sais quoi, for lack of a French term.

Well, Hitman 3 hit shelves and digital storefronts recently with little more than new extravagant levels all over the world, the last bit of the story that no one cares about, and more of that online connectivity nonsense. I’ve yet to pick up Hitman 3, though I know I will soon enough, given my history of bemoaning the death of the previous games I always tend to pick up the new one later. Now, a few weeks on from the series climatic ending, which may have landed with the thud of a dead body or the cheer of a broken plate in a restaurant, IO Interactive released the Roadmap for the coming content.

As you can see below, all throughout the month of February and into March, players can pick up and play content releasing intermittently during the next few weeks. This includes the reboot series’ new standard, the elusive targets this time being in Sapienza. Including two escalation events, two featured contracts, and more for deluxe edition holders. The free section of the roadmap also includes a note of a notable game update coming February the 23rd.
