It’s a great day for America, everybody! Maybe if I start these Prime Gaming articles with the thin veneer of faux-American optimism that Craig Ferguson could muster, I won’t be endlessly sardonic. Who am I kidding; I don’t have a history of drug and alcohol addiction, along with the ownership of a gay skeleton robot, at least not yet. Oh well, we can try again next week when I’m talking about: Black Desert: MobileYahtzee with BuddiesRuneScape and Old School RuneScapeMLB Tap SportsRobloxLast Day on EarthWorld of Warships, and whatever replaces Stick It To The Man!. I’ll get the shovel to dig the ditch for optimism then.

Last week I said, “one might assume it is either a player skin or a gun skin.” Ha, I am stupid and didn’t think Prime would dip as low as it did on only the second “content drop,” but I do love surprises. The “Funky with It” emote is this month’s drop for Rogue Company players, and I couldn’t be more gobsmacked by an actual skin to an emote. That’s not a slide; that is a sheer drop off the edge of a cliff face with dirty needles poking out. That is not a great deal, and I don’t know who would see that as value for the offer. The only player of Rogue Company that would enjoy this will want to pick it up by the 30th of November.

Players of League of Legends will know more about what I’m about to say, but you can now pick up the K/DA Icon Capsule. Hasn’t Japan ruined us all enough? Yes, I enjoy BABYMETAL for the comedy in it, but I honestly don’t understand what this Icon business is all about. I do understand K/DA is League of Legends‘ in-game Icon group of fictional characters crossing over into reality with the release of an EP, but I don’t understand the point. Along with the first of the mystery skin shards, you can pick up this capsule until the 23rd of November.

We move from one set of legends to another, as Legends of Runeterra has returned for another drop of Epic Wildcards, the first of which is available now. The problem with this, is the lack of my understanding of what this Epic Wildcard is. For all I know, it is a thing thrown at Apple with a premeditated lawsuit aimed at attacking another storefront for its business practices, while ignoring your own store’s issues. Honestly? I have no clue; I just know players of Legends of Runeterra can link accounts and redeem the first Epic Wildcard until the 2nd of December.

I said it last week, though I’ll state it again. Players of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang can pick up an offer of 2 Amazon Chests along with the usual hero and skin trial cards. You can do so until the 17th of November; when we return to a single chest for your bi-weekly offers through the rest of the year. Was this the first one I’ve not been sarcastic or demeaning towards? We can’t have that for a mobile game that features $99.99 microtransactions, no we can not!

Speaking of mobile games with questionable practices, let’s get this section out of the way with four consecutive games I’d never play if I was stuck on the toilet for 6-hours or longer. The 7th drop for the not-so-venerable MLB Tap Sports Baseball includes: Two player bonus boxes and 80K in cash. This offer ends on the 11th of November, with another not-so-appetizing dollop of free-to-play slop for next week’s article. Something tells me that optimism should have been dead and buried a long time ago.

According to my little cheat-sheet of what and when things change over for Big Farm: Mobile Harvest, this is the second to last bi-weekly offer. Finally! This full-fat Farmville derivate can go away and stay out of my life for a while. I cannot wait for Prime to surprise me with another 12-weeks of this stuff in two weeks’ time. This week you can pick up 50 Seaweed Hummus. Sadly you can’t light Seaweed on fire as Snoop Dogg found out that one time. This offer ends on the 16th of November, along with my hope or whatever I have left of it.

Now on to the Last Day on Earth, or at least it was for any optimism I once had. The game has once again updated. However, this time I am not instantly jumping yell it down because there seems to be something of worth here, I know! A level 3 backpack, 5 grenades, 3 lots of C4, and whatever a VSS is (I assume the sniper). It is not a lot for normal games, but that’s a lot for free-to-play games to offer in a bi-weekly thing like this. This offer ends on the 12th of November for those that want to pick it up. Don’t worry, next time we’ll be back to nothing but moaning as it is just a dog, old Liz’s dog as well.

Every time I look at Epic (7) Seven, I wonder who really plays that? Who would see that as adding value to their plethora of games? Then I remember Alexx players anything with women in tight dresses and breasts pushed up to their chin (aka JRPGS). Oddly enough, there are some crossed wires in communication over at Prime. As my aforementioned cheat-sheet tells me, the next drop releases on the 16th. Meanwhile, Prime is promoting what is lined up next, 5 Greater Equipment Charms and 500K in gold, as available until the 18th of November. I don’t know what is right here, so beware.

Finally, I can just move onto the game without having to talk about getting people out to vote, and how do Prime repay me? Bridge Constructor: Medieval. I wasn’t too excited about Bridge Constructor when it was last on Prime a few weeks ago, I doubt I’d ever be. It is a tried and tested formula of mobile-like gameplay that works to kill time/waste the minutes away in the computer lab at school. Though there are better games on Prime right now. I’d sooner go back and play The Occupation than be mildly inconvenienced by a flimsy bridge.
