Sometimes I have a glimmer of hope that Prime Gaming will trot out something worthwhile, then I get a glimpse of what is to come for the next month. Hope is sometimes not advised. That is why no one had hope for WWE 2K Battlegrounds, and if they did have hope, they don’t now. Though, I’m getting ahead of myself; Which could be said of this article too, as we’re publishing a day early. There is no real reason for it, just that we’re trying to balance the 1st being late in the week with our weekly series of Prime Gaming articles.

Getting to the best news for one of these examples of my hell, FarmVille developer Zynga announced that it will be closing its doors very soon. That doesn’t stop its knock-off from irritating me, so Big Farm: Mobile Harvest will continue until the end of November, at least. At the time of writing, you can pick up the current offer of 1-million “farm dollars,” which runs until the 5th of October. Following that, you’ll have two weeks of being able to pick up “Amazon profile pic ‘Kittens’.” Oh, the value for your Prime subscription right there.

  • Those playing Last Day on Earth: Survival can get a backpack that looks like a bumbag/”fanny pack” until the 1st.
  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, is once again offering a chest (loot box), along with hero and skin trial cards. This weeks offer lasts until the 6th of October.
  • Yahtzee with Buddies is offering an “EXCLUSIVE Prime Profile Picture.” It must be special; It is capitalized. It is available until the 1st of October.
  • For those who enjoy MMOs, RuneScape and Old School RuneScape are offering a 7-day membership until October the 13th.

Both Red Dead Online and Grand Theft Auto Online are listing the same tripe as they have done for weeks now, so I’ll not talk about it in great length. For RDRO, you can still pick up The Naturalist guff from several weeks ago, now with emotes and other tidbits. GTA Online players could already get a bonus of $1-million of in-game money. Now, players can get a further $1-million for their troubles too. Pick up both quickly, as once again, the two of them are listed as “offer ends 22[nd] Aug.

“America’s past time,” it is boring. It is just Latin/Hispanic millionaires playing rounders, though the same could be said of Cricket. If the only MLB you happen to be getting right now is MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2020, I feel sorry for you. Go and talk to Taylor or Mike because they would know what a good baseball game would be. Though since you are here, you can pick up the second “loot drop” in the run featuring one bonus player box (loot box, probably) and 1000 pennants. Offer ends on the 7th of October.

  • Going on as a means to annoy me endlessly, you can now pick up the first of three mystery skin shards for League of Legends. The second shard is available from the 8th of October.
  • Valorant players can still pick up the Netter Treeter gun buddy until the 19th of October.
  • You can pick up the Shadow Stalker mount for Paladins until the 28th of October.
  • World of Tanks has started a crossover with The Boys, with the Starlight kit available until the 22nd of October.
  • World of Warships players can get a rental of HMS Cossack with some loot boxes also available until the 15th of October.

Remember when all you’d hear about for a while was Apex Legends? I remember those three days too. Players of the battle royale can now pick up Bloodhound’s Will of the Allfather skin, swapping a bit of brown for twinges of purple here and there. Along with Bloodhound, you can still pick up the Finely Tuned gun charm previously available with Rampart’s skin from last time. Both seem to be available until the 20th of October.

  • Roblox still annoys me with its misunderstanding of what pauldrons are and their purpose. Currently, you can pick up the coconut pauldrons until the 12th of October.
  • Hyper Scape is still hanging around, with the current battle pass leaving Prime on October the 6th, to soon be replaced with another.
  • The Minion Masters: Zealous Inferno DLC is still available until the 8th of November.
  • For those looking to get into an MMO, TERA‘s starter pack still has one month before leaving Prime, giving players a gentle start until the 30th of September.

Speaking of online and me not caring, Smite has hung around for quite some time hasn’t it? Players of the battle arena can currently pick up Code Eater Bakasura skin, whatever that is. From what I can gather, it is a purple and pink-ish robot with tentacles and a gold sword, which sounds far more exciting than what a Wiki will tell me about it. The offer ends on the 22nd of October for that one.

Moving right along, Destiny 2 is still a special shade of grey that keeps coming around. Currently, you can pick up The Colony Exotic bundle, once again a collection over-designed weapons, ships, sex aids, and whatever a Sparrow is. It is the same guff as usual, just a different shade of grey until the 21st of October.

Speaking of over-designed claptrap I couldn’t find interesting even if it had breasts that dispensed Ben and Jerry’s. Sadly Warframe doesn’t give out Cookie Dough, just the claptrap and guff. Alongside the long-standing ember Warframe with slot, you can pick up Avia Prime Syandana. Yes, MMO players, this is why normal people think you are weird, this is a whole other language that is incomprehensible. The Syandana is available until the 27th of October.

I honestly try to keep up with everything, but I have for about a month forgotten to add what has been added to Epic (7) Seven. Since it is only available in select regions, it is annoying to cover in the first place. Nonetheless, players in those regions can currently claim three Greater Artifact charms and 500K gold. It is available until the 7th of October, and there are only a few more drops to go before this one ends, I hope.

The SNK bundle is still available for those who want to pick up lots of retro/arcade games of the 90s. If you’re quick you can still pick up Vostok Inc., though if you’re more interested in Q.U.B.E. 2 or Bridge Constructor, both are available until the 9th and 16th of October respectively. This past Friday they added Seum: Speedrunners From Hell. A Quake 3-inspired 3D platformer that we covered before.

As we’re publishing early, October’s “games with Prime” haven’t officially been announced. Though some of the options seem logical, and have been part of many horror-based giveaways before. Yes, I am padding, because I’ve spoken about Layers of Fear enough on this site and elsewhere, I never want to talk about it again. I’m bored of horror already and it isn’t even October.

The second is a little more obscure to me, Silver Chains. A first-person horror game with the tropes you’d expect: Big dark house, creepy doll shrine, and doors that will probably shut behind you on their own. There are two reasons I’ve not heard of this one: the first is obvious as I’ve already said I don’t care for horror, the second is because it hasn’t lit enough of a fire under anyone. Maybe it will with the Prime giveaway.

I love movie-tie in games, but a Jay and Silent Bob game, really? Fittingly, it is a small 8-bit side-scrolling beat ’em up of one Bob who is silent and a Jay, it fits the nostalgic cult celebration of the two. Released this May in aid of funding Interabang’s other Jay and Silent Bob game, Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch, it is just a small beat ’em up to tease the big release. Now if I say Jay and Silent Bob one more time, I think I’ll need to pay Kevin Smith or he will have to pay me for advertising.

Next up is Dead Age, a “Final Fantasy” style turn-based combat zombie game with permadeath. I find Final Fantasy annoying enough if I can’t suggest that the four men dressed in black aren’t boyband boyfriends doing what boyfriends do in that tent at night. The description also lists FTL for its rogue-lite nature. It is a shotgun blast of a game, with about as much precision as mincemeat going through a jet turbine. Grimy and covered in zombies, someone will like it.

Now for the one that I’m confused about, as it is neither costume related, horror, or Halloween related. Surf World Series? I don’t get it, there are very few things I could say about surfing, and at the very least fewer that I could say about surfing in October without your nipples being able to cut through bank safes. Now I think we know why Madonna needed traffic cones for her bra in the 80s.
