Xbox All Access Explained

We now know the Xbox Series S will run for $299. It’s likely that the Xbox Series X is at least $499. Xbox All Access makes it possible to have these expensive consoles for a low monthly price. If that all seems confusing to you, let me run through the new service. If you’re thinking that a monthly fee might cost you more in the long run, then think again. There’s a good deal to be had here if you’re down for another monthly bill.

Xbox All Access debuted for the Xbox One X. Essentially, instead of paying money up front to own the console, you’d make payments for two years. It’s interest-free and you have a set payment you contribute each month. At the end of the two years, the console is yours outright. That process is returning for the Series X and Series S. The program is going to also include Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Game Pass and Live together in a bundle.

If you want the All Access deal for the Series S, it’s $25 a month. That includes Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and after two years, the console is yours. The Series X deal is only revealed right now as a leak. The supposed deal is $35 a month with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate included. This is likely going to be confirmed sometime later this month by Microsoft.

If you don’t know whether or not you want the $300 hit to your wallet, a $25 bill each month is easier to swallow. Yes, you do pay over $300 through the two years, but it includes Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. In reality, you pay $600 over two years. The Series X and two years of Ultimate would usually run you $660. It’s a steal if you usually pay full-price for things anyway.
