Would it be fair if I just copied half of my other weekly series about people getting games by clicking a button, no? Fine, let’s get this mess over with. In a tweet announcing their intentions to help people not be stupid by going outside, Twitch Prime noted they will be doing a more frequent update to the list of games they offer, and that insipid thing referred to as “loot.” Now we’ll be running a weekly series of games with Twitch Prime, which poses a question. Will this increase or decrease the number of games? We have no idea, it is not spoken of anywhere within the realms of Twitch Prime.
We’ll start with the game in the tweet announced first, Yono and the Celestial Elephants is a puzzle adventure about an elephant called John. Ok, jokes about dyslexia and The Beatles aside, you play as these elephants with a chicken on their head. As you’d expect it is aimed to be as “Cute” as possible, a phrase I don’t care too much for. However, keeping the style all-around it makes horrific monsters and nightmarish dungeons look like they’re out of a 3DS JRPG. If it keeps the sprogs happy, I can’t complain because having kids right now and having to keep them inside must be a nightmare. Yono and the Celestial Elephants is available until the 20th of May.
In one of the few things that I’ll say is truly free, if you’ve been playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang yet but haven’t had Amazon Prime during the previous “free loot,” you’ll want to pick up the current offer. All you need is an Amazon account to connect to the game, giving you: a 7-day trial of the hero Guinevere, her lotus skin, and the hero Gusion with his cyber ops skin. This offer is only available between the 21st of April and the 5th of May, so you’ll want to be quick on picking this one up.

Along with this, there have been several updates to the loot we reported on at the start of this month, including Fallout 76, Black Desert Mobile, Apex Legends, and World of Tanks. Not to mention, there are a few pieces of loot we might not get to before we get the article out next Friday, May 1st. If you want to look like an idiot by dressing like a pizza in Rainbow Six Siege, that offer ends on the 4th of May. The DOOM Eternal unicorn slayer outfit ends on Wednesday the 29th, and more ends too.
Today by the time this article is published another game will be available to pick up. Old School Musical is a retro-style rhythm game dressed up as an RPG in places while looking like Metal Gear Solid in others. It’s a strange choice, not only as an offer for one of the “free games” with Twitch Prime, but also generally as a game to offer as an incentive to stay indoors. I’m not complaining about the quality though. Out of all the games available to play, I don’t know how much that would convince someone to stay inside over something like Earthlock or Lightmatter from earlier this month.
