Yes, I am still pissed as a fart from our break. I only had a truly wonderful time playing every game under the sun, watching The Witcher series on Netflix that everyone is on about, and of course, did a bit more writing through the New Year. I hope all you had lovely days either with family (or getting a break from them), but now it is time to work to pay for all those loot boxes, subscription fees, and games too. One of which is Amazon and Twitch Prime (one consolidated subscription) for that’s what we’re on about today.

Let’s start with the two that have stuck around for months at this point: Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2‘s respective online mess. For GTA and Red Dead Online players, you are still getting an increase to their in-game currencies for Twitch Prime members. In RDO you are getting a copper still for your in-game moonshining property and the “collector’s bag.” While in GTA Online, you are getting free access to Pixel Pete’s Arcade in the casino.

Considering we’re just over that Christmas-y lull we’re best to cover World of Tanks: another care package. This is the usual limited-time premium thing with consumables and cosmetics, such as the Swedish VII STRV 81 made on the UK’s Centurion, and the tier 6 Panzerkampfwagen IV with a Schmalturm turret, with a fifteen and thirty percent discount if you want to keep them after the 14-day premium trial. Care package Lima includes things like health kits, fire extinguishers, and more as well. You get all of this, along with the captured King Tiger tank. This offer ends on the 30th.

Keeping on the holly jolly jive, Rage 2 players will get a set of jolly skins for a couple of guns. Imagine Mad Max, but with a wrapping paper skin on his gun? Yeah, I’d need all the drugs to do that as well. However, if you want the “Manticore” skin for the rocket launcher, “It’s a Wrap” for one shotgun, and the “Gifting Gun” skin for another shotgun you might want to pick up the Jolly Prime bundle before January 20th.

Staying with the magenta games, Borderlands 3 players will get a trinket for a weapon and three golden keys. Sadly there isn’t a factory of chocolate and several copies of Deep Roy singing as someone blue is rolled out the room. The trinket you’ll receive for linking your account to your Twitch Prime account is a Caster Blaster trinket. When you link your “SHiFT” account you’ll also get three golden keys for the trouble. This offer ends on the 20th of January, though it will be replaced with another one soon after.

If you’re more of a sports fan, there is one thing for you. Madden NFL 20 players who are playing the Ultimate Team mode will get player with an overall of 84+, and from my understanding, a chance to get a player with a 94 overall as well. Given I know as much about the NFL as I do about these Ultimate Team things EA does, I’ll stop there. This portion of the NFL 100 pack deal ends on the 16th of January with more to come following this one.

During our break, I gave a slight update on the “loot” you could pick up on mobile for games like Black Desert MobileKing of FightersRaid: Shadow Legends, and Mobile Legends Bang Bang. The first offer of which, is that you can pick up the second drop in the Karlstein Barding mount. I’m better versed in the NFL than MMOs, so as far as I’m understanding this is an exclusive mount you will receive. However, it could be exclusive skin for an in-game mount, it is a little unclear on that information. This offer ends on the 15th when you’ll be able to pick up the exclusive gear of lollipop glasses for your character.

I don’t think I’ll have to be verbose about this one, as it is the same loot you’ve been picking up for a couple of weeks now. If you’re playing King of the Fighters, these are the last couple of weeks to get ten battle card tickets ever two weeks. The current offer ends next Monday on the 13th of January, when it will be replaced by the final offer. Another set of 10 battle card tickets, which will end on the 27th of January.

To keep going down that list in order, Raid: Shadow Legends players can now pick up the second drop of this series. The second drop is two million in-game silver, which I’d assume to be a currency in-game, and seven-hundred energy to play with. This offer also ends on Monday the 13th, with the replacement being the another epic champion offered. The second epic champion is Whisper, a lady with half a shaved head and a catsuit that supports her breasts too well. This offer ends on the 27th and will be replaced with three epic skin tomes and forty greater potions.

This month will also see the seventh and eight drops for Mobile Legends Bang Bang. The seventh contains one skin coupon, one MLBB-Amazon chest with a 15.022 percent chance of getting a skin from it, two hero trial cards of Karina and Badang for seven days respectively, and two skin trials for both characters lasting just as long with the Gemini halo and Leo skin for the former and latter. The eighth drop coming this month is fairly similar with Alucard and Gord as the heroes, with Alucard’s Obsidian Blade skin and Gord’s Conqueror skin. The seventh drop ends on the 15th and the eight on the 29th. With one more drop for next month.

The multiplayer reskin of Worms called Fortress M continues with three drops this month. The first of these ends on the 8th of January, so be quick to get the 300 short missile shards, 250 gems, and 10,000 crings. I’d assume the latter two are in-game currency given they are repeated through all the drops. For the next one, it is 300 super tank shards with the in-game currency, ending on the 22nd of January. The final drop of the month for Fortress M features 300 missile dot shards with the previously mentioned currency of the same amount.

Those playing Dauntless can get a code to unlock the Cold Crush weapon skin. This seemingly comes with several consumables as previous iterations of this loot have featured them as well. You’ll want to be quick though as this offer ends on the 14th of January.

If you’re playing Sea of Thieves, the Twitch Prime Pirate Pack is ending on the 7th. This includes a whole livery set for your ship, an emote, and a pet when you connect your accounts. On the 7th Path of Exile players will miss out on the Divine Bundle, which includes the Divine Arcane portal and holy eyes. Those playing RuneScape will also lose out on three umbral chests if they aren’t quick.

PS4 players of Konami’s Contra: Rogue Corps can relax a little bit on the custom skin for Kaiser and the “throw back purple” skin for Ms. Harakiri, this offer ends on the 9th of January. The following day an offer ends for Magic the Gathering Arena, if you’re playing you can get the Liliana’s Legion deck before the 10th of January.

Finally, the one I’ve lost count on because you have to claim the first offer, wait 30 days, and build up to the last one. Rocket League players can get the forth drop now if they have been keeping up with the packs and this one includes the tactical nuke goal explosion, sushi player banner, and boba drink antenna. If you haven’t gotten that far yet, don’t worry there is still a bit of time left in this offer of the four packs. The offer ends on the 27th of March.

If you’re partial to the battle royale business that’s popular now, you might want to check out the Cyber Attack skin for Apex Legends. The first of a total 12 drops, you can currently pick up the Cyber Attack skin for the newest legend, “CRYPTO.” This offer ends on the 16th and will be replaced with another skin until some time in February.

If you are one of the few who haven’t stated your hatred of Bethesda and vowed that Fallout died the day they got their hands on it, though somehow stood up again in 2010 before dying again right after, you might like the next bundle. Fallout 76 players are eligible to get the “Fallout Holiday Bundle,” a bundle that’s as festive as I am attractive. With this bundle you get the Twitch Prime sleeping bag, Vault-Tec paint for the combat shotgun, “feelin’ fine” player icon, a “Welcome Home” frame for photo mode, and a clean white striped suit. This bundle ends on the 27th of January when it will be replaced with another bundle for February.

It has been months now, and yet still I don’t know anything about Twitch Sings, I never will. Though if you’re one of the two people that seem to be keeping whatever this is alive, you’ll want to pick up the snowboard outfit for Twitch Sings. The offer will end on the 16th and probably change to something else, possibly winter-themed too.

As this piece is written two drops will end before it is published, so with that those playing League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics: Rise of the Elements your loot is a bit of mystery. It is without this delay, for Teamfight Tactics you’ll get a mystery little legends egg and mystery emote to keep for as long as you play the game. Those playing League of Legends are getting a mystery skin to keep.

If you’re playing Warframe, you’ll want to pick up the latest bundle. This first drop includes an Ember warframe, a warframe slot, and the filigree prime decoration. You’ll want to be quick as this offer ends on the 14th of January and be replaced with the second drop, a booster pack.

Continuing with the free-to-play, if you’re playing Minion Masters you can still get the Accursed Army DLC pack. There’s very little on this in our press release, but it might be worth checking out the game if you are interested, it is free-to-play after all. This offer ends on the 5th of February.

Online and free-to-play seem to go hand in hand. So if you’re either thinking about playing either World of TanksWarframeWorld of Warships, or TERA for the first time you might want to check out the starter packs. With these starter packs, you get a little helping hand at the start of each game if you’re looking to get into an MMO.

I guess it is time for the games, and this month seems to the month of all the indies getting out there. As I said further up in the article, I did a quick update on the Twitch Prime loot for December, and that contained an extra five games to add onto the five games already available. According to Twitch at the time, these games were only available until the end of December. Now it seems we’re getting the Devolver Digitial bundle until the end of January. This includes Enter the GungeonApe OutWitcheyeGato Roboto, and Heave Ho

Let’s get to this month’s games though, another selection of indie platformers and fun stuff. Starting with Long Hat House and Raw Fury’s Dandara, a Metroidvania I’ve been meaning to try for a while now. It is the indie darling of indie darlings, containing a female protagonist, pixel art, and 2D platforming Metroidvania bosses that are harder than a Dark Souls boss that’s taken Viagra.

Anarcute, want to start a revolt against the government? Think Rico Rodriguez is too much of a macho macho man, and need something a bit cuter? Well, Anarteam’s game about cute animals revolting against the status quo might be for you.

Kingdom New Lands, an oddly infuriating rogue-lite about building up a small hamlet that you have to protect from horrible little demons. When I played this for the Epic Games Store piece a few months ago, it was fun but I didn’t want to go back the same way I want to with something like FTL. It is worth trying, though survival without a permanent upgrade to work towards seems annoying.

Splasher, a platformer in the same vein as Super Meat Boy. This is the one I’ve not researched as those that will like it will snort this one like baby powder and those not interested by that description already know where they stand. It is very pretty, but visuals wouldn’t be the detractor for this one.

A Normal Lost Phone. I just don’t want to say anything about this one because it is the only one I purposefully played for this article, knew very little, and it did everything right. All you have to do is search around a phone, find out what you can, and you’ll understand the story soon enough. This is what I said on Twitter after completing it in just a few hours the other day:

So this month you have a solid ten indie games to pick up and lots of loot for the online and phone games you probably play.
