Many of us here at Phenixx Gaming are excited to see (and play) Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot when it launches on January 17^th, 2020. I for one am thrilled to be able to explore the Dragon Ball Z world and experience Goku’s story all over again in vivid detail. The developers and publishers of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot have revealed the opening cinematic, which will hopefully set the mood of the adventures to come.

As with any media, the opening cinematic is important. I mean I can think of dozens of shows that have iconic openings, with The Simpsons as just an example. Games take on the same idea, and with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, there is a whole world of history and story to pack into one short clip.

Check out the video above for a clear view of the new Opening Cinematic, to tide you over until the January 17^th release. Hopes are high for a lot of people that this game will live up to the iconic standards that Dragon Ball Z has always set in the eyes of fans. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 17^th.

No word has been given yet on whether it will release for Nintendo Switch in the future, but I for one am very excited regardless. Experiencing Goku’s story in an Action-RPG format, with new quests and an in-depth storyline, is just exciting to me. As someone who grew up with Goku and the gang, the nostalgia is real with this one.
