The latest updates to Star Wars: Battlefront 2 continue to make it one of my favorite multiplayer shooters of all time. After a rocky start, the game has turned into a tour de force of updates and improvements. Here are some things to check out if it’s been a while since you hopped in as a droid or clone trooper!

New Battlefront 2 Hero Appearances Available for Late October

New Appearances for Han Solo and Luke Skywalker are here in the latest Battlefront 2 update. Both are inspired by their Yavin Ceremony garments in Episode IV: A New Hope. Luke’s new Appearance from the Yavin Ceremony is available through a special challenge but will come later for Credits or Crystals. Han’s latest Appearance can be purchased with Credits or Crystals now.

New Maps, Modes, and Appearances for Battlefront 2

A new map option, as well as a new Appearance, are here as well. The Jet Trooper of the Galactic Republic is getting a new default Appearance inspired by the 501st Legion. Additionally, the enchanting planet of Felucia is added as the latest arena to the Heroes vs. Villains game mode. Lastly, the Co-Op mode gets five additional defend scenarios. Fend off unrelenting attackers across all Clone Wars planets in new situations that push your skills to the limit.

New Ewok Hunt Updates

When the Ewok Hunt game mode launched in April 2018, it launched on a modified version of Endor from Star Wars Battlefront (2015). The latest location is also set on Endor, but it’s updated to the map seen in Galactic Assault. This gives it a great, fresh look and feel. Plus, if you haven’t tried this mode out, you get to play as an Ewok looking to defend its treetops and home. It’s honestly kinda scary seeing them pop out of the dark and attack you, but way too much fun when you get to do the hunting as an Ewok.

Battlefront 2 is the redemption ark any game can achieve when the devs put time into making it great for gamers. If you need me, I’ll be on Naboo yelling Roger, Roger! at strangers.
