Given that I’ve spoken about Session before, you wouldn’t be mistaken for assuming I am excited to play it properly at some point. That said, I’ve also spoken about the demo which hardly runs on my PC, and I doubt the recent early access release will fair any better for me. I would say that’s more an issue with Unreal Engine working about as well as a dying whale on a beach.

Not to worry, however, there’s an Xbox One release soon. Well, there was. Yes, much like Fallout 76‘s Wastelander DLCSession has been pushed back, but only slightly. According to an update on the creā-ture studios Facebook page, the game has been ever so slightly delayed until the end of November or start of December this year. There is currently no word on why this delay occurred so close to the possible Xbox One release.

The Xbox release date was announced back in August, alongside the Steam early access date. It wasn’t a long wait between both, but it was a wait nonetheless. The previous release window was set for October, and we were rapidly coming up to the end of October with no word on the Xbox release date changing, until now at least. This probably sounds like I’m upset over this delay, but I’m not. I’d rather wait another month or so for something that’s both playable and fun, than a sluggish and unplayable mess. Hence why I’m not attempting to play Session on PC.

Whatever reason the team over at creā-ture studios have for the delay, I’d rather they delay it than release something unplayable. With many previously proclaiming Session as the true successor to EA’s Skate, it is only fitting to give as many prospect fans a reason to stay with good memories. Either way, we are once again waiting for Session on Xbox One which is now slated for late November or early December.
