Last week, we reported on the news of a possible Fallout Legacy collection featuring a majority of the single-player Fallout games. To put it lightly, we were very excited for this to come true, and as someone who hadn’t played the first two in the series, now seems like the perfect time to go back and play. Bethesda has confirmed the legitimacy of the collection.

It is particularly the Bethesda UK Twitter account that has confirmed this collection. However, do not get your hopes up too much, as the collection has been confirmed for PC users in the UK and Germany only. This means Shaun Prescott of PC Gamer, stating that the collection would come both to PC and consoles, also has some rough German understanding, to say the least. I was unsure of the translation myself; though my English is patchy at the best of times, nevermind the several other languages I do roughly know.

As I’ve stated, this release is only set to release in select markets on a single platform with about as pomp and circumstance as priest walking into an AA meeting. The account in question that confirmed this release has also been adamant to state just how many fallouts (teehee) it is willing to give if you don’t live in either the UK or Germany. If one had to speculate to why there is a lapse of a US, general Europe, and worldwide release it would be licensing of New Vegas in some way. That is a wholly unfounded piece of speculation, but is the only non-Bethesda developed game in the studio’s reign of the Fallout series; thus lending some credibility to the idea.

If you are either in the UK or Germany you are now able to pre-order the Fallout Legacy collection ahead of its release on the 25th of October.
