Speculation around a PC port of Red Dead Redemption 2 is nothing new. What is new, however, is the official announcement that it’s happening.

Since its release date, fans have circulated rumors and speculation surrounding RDR2 coming to PC. When the game released last October, it was immediately celebrated. The game is not without its faults, most notably the drag of doing similar missions over and over again. That being said, it’s not hard to power through the boring moments in the game to enjoy the incredible world Rockstar creates. The feeling of just riding and exploring the West without even looking for a mission is an incredible experience. Not to mention, there are so many little things occurring around the RDR2 world, you never know what you might come across.

The PC port is set to release on November 4th for the Rockstar Games Launcher. If you pre-order, you get some pretty neat bonuses. The pre-order items include:

  • War Horse to use in Story Mode
  • Treasure Map to use in Story Mode
  • Cash Bonus to use in Story Mode
  • 50 Gold Bars to use in Red Dead Online

Rockstar is going to announce more details about the PC port on October 9th, including screenshots and more details surrounding Red Dead Online. Let’s be real though; nobody needs more information. It’s an instant buy for any PC gamers, given how much people have been wanting this game. Dataminers found hints of this not too long ago, and people basically exploded with excitement.

If you have concerns or criticisms of Red Dead Redemption 2, you’re not alone. Most Rockstar games, despite their popularity and high review ratings, come with their issues. Does the experience diminish in the wake of little bugs or idiosyncrasies though? Absolutely not.
