Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a well celebrated game in the series, and a Complete Edition is on the way for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

There are a ton of wonderful DLC campaigns and features that came out for the game; and they’re all included in Sega’s newest package of the simulation, third-person-shooter hybrid strategy game.

If you’ve played a Valkyria Chronicles game before, you’re likely to love this one. This title takes place in the same time as the original, but features a whole new batch of heroes and soldiers to play and fight with. As the young Commander Claude Wallace, you are out to make a name for yourself by using JRPG turn-based combat with third-person-shooter elements. It’s a lot cleaner than it sounds if you’ve never played the game. Move your characters, and then fire upon enemies by aiming yourself rather than auto-attacking. Known as the BLITZ battle system, it allows for total control over the fight.

New features include an explosive new class called the Grenadier, numerous offensive and defensive battleship support options, chances for a unit to have a “Last Stand” action before death, and more. Plus, fight the imperial threat with more units on larger-scale maps than ever before. With the series’ signature hand drawn visuals and original composer Hitoshi Sakimoto, the game is a JRPG for the books.

The Valkyria Chronicles 4 Complete Edition features the game and all of its’ DLC for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, priced at $49.99. If you already own the game, but haven’t picked up the additional content yet, grab the DLC in an all-in-one package for $24.99. The base game is now only $29.99 for users looking to get a taste of the combat before going all-in. No release date has been announced for the Complete Edition as of now.
